Investment Trusts

An investment trust is a company that is a vehicle for investment.

Typically this involves the pooling together of funds from multiple investors in order to make a collective investment in assets that fir the Investment Trust’s strategy. They are closed end investments that are divided among the investors in shares, which the investors then have the ability to purchase and sell if, and when, they choose.

Investment Trusts prices will vary as they are based on the net asset value of the trust.  Investors can receive an income from this type of investment, opt for capital growth, or potentially benefit from a combination of both.
