Advice in connection with opening Enterprise Management Incentive plans
Enterprise Management Incentive Plans (EMI) allow companies to grant share options to qualifying employees with tax benefits for both employers and their staff.
EMI can be used by both private and smaller listed companies and can be offered to as few or as many employees as the company wishes – as long as they meet certain basic criteria. EMI can form a tax efficient part of a company’s succession planning, or it can be used purely as an incentive for employees.
If a company does not – for whatever reason – qualify for EMI, PK Group can offer advice on alternative forms of employee share schemes which may prove a flexible and tax efficient way of motivating and retaining your staff.
